2016’s First Treasures

Happy New Year everyone!

I know, it’s with a slight delay, but I have been busy spending time with my family and friends back home and then adjusting back again to reality and the British weather 🙂

I did find the time though to discover some new amazing beauty products to start the new year with! Some were gifts and some of them I bought myself but they’re all super cool!

The Perfect Foundation Brush-Sephora Pro Angled Contour Brush #75

I was looking for a new foundation brush and was about to choose between a Mac and a Bobbi Brown one. But then I walked into Sephora and found this babe. It’s one of the best brushes I’ve ever used! It’s super soft and can be used to apply blush, bronzer, foundation, and even concealer. Its angled bristles make it perfect for blending and contouring and I love using the white circle in the middle as a guide on where to place the foundation on the brush! The pointed side is great for the areas around the nose and eyes.

The Magic Primer- Sephora Combleur Pores & Ridules Primer

I have always been a big fan of the Sephora primers but this is the first time I’m using this one. I bought it from Greece and I can manage to find it only on the Greek Sephora website-hence the link on the title. It is a little miracle especially for these annoying fine lines- I have one on my forehead and I love the way it smooths it. It’s also great for softening the pores and has a weightless, non-sticky texture that leaves a lovely mattifying effect to the skin. I could even use it on its own without make up!

The Luxurious Foundation-Chanel Vitalumière Aqua

   This was one of my favourite gifts! I hadn’t tried this Chanel foundation before and I was curious to see whether its quality would match the price.  And it really does. I hate heavy foundations so I love how lightweight this one is. It’s very easy to blend and gives great coverage and a healthy natural glow.  Looks like I’m going to stick to it for a while!

      It’s really easy to use as well! I can’t say I’m amazing with brushes but because of its angle I can actually do a pretty descent job with it 🙂 x
