More Beauty Treasures-Part 2

Hello Everyone,

I can’t believe it’s February already! Where has the time gone? Oh well one month closer to summer 🙂

On my previous post I shared with you some of the beauty products that got me excited the early days of 2016. But they weren’t the only ones! So here are some more…

Hand Cream Made in Heaven- L’Occitane Almond Delicious Hands

I bought this hand cream at the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam on my way back from Greece after the Christmas holidays. I tried the taster and was instantly hooked. The delicious scent of almonds stole my heart and my hands felt immediately hydrated. Enriched with almond milk and almond oil, the Almond Delicious Hand cream  softens the hands without leaving the greasy film that most hand creams do. It was the perfect gift to myself before going back to the British winter.

New Eye Shadow Palette Favourite-The Body Shop Grooving Gold Palette

This beautiful eye-shadow palette was a gift from my lovely cousin who knows how much I love makeup. I have to admit that I rarely stick to one palette as I have a few and like to change. This one though had all the colours I needed for the party season and they all look so great that I’ve been using it almost every day ever since! It combines warm gold and copper metallic tones with rich earthy tones and comes with a mirror and brush. I really liked the quality of the shadows as they could be applied and blended smoothly on the eyes and staid intact for hours.

New Day & Night Cream-Korres Magnolia First Wrinkles Cream

I wanted to try a new moisturizing cream for day and night and as I used to be a big fan of Korres products, I decided to give this one a go. According to the product description, it is supposed to repair fine lines and prevent permanent wrinkles-one can only hope! It is enriched with Magnolia bark extract and vitamin E (the night cream also contains hyaluronic acid) that stimulate the skin’s natural defense against chronic inflammation. I like the way the cream feels on my skin.

The day cream smells lovely and freshens up my skin, it feels instantly hydrated and rejuvenated. It is light and non greasy and is absorbed quickly after application. The night cream is  much richer in texture and has a more intense scent (Fabio’s not a happy bunny). It feels really nice on my skin though and I think I have noticed a distinctive difference to my fine lines after I started using it (or it might just be wishful thinking!).

Let me know what you think about these new beauty products!

Lots of Love,

Eleni xxx
