I’ve got to admit it, January and February felt like the longest months ever! There was one thing that kept me going though; the thought of the trips I have planned for the next few months-the ultimate remedy for the soul! I enjoy planning my trips almost as much as I enjoy the actual holiday. I love visiting websites and reading blog posts about every place I am travelling to in order to discover new, exciting spots to visit. Of course I also love discovering places while I am there but mentally preparing for the trip puts me in a great mood even while I’m still here. Some of the places I will be visiting soon are London, Sicily and Ibiza so here are my dream spot destinations for food, drinks and treats at these amazing locations!
Dream Spot Destinations-London
Fatties Bakery Hot Chocolate at Maltby Street Market
There are only a few things in life that I love more than chocolate and caramel. So when I saw the Facebook TimeOut London’s video about the Fatties Bakery signature hot chocolate my heart skipped a beat! According to the video, this magical hot chocolate potion is salted caramel flavoured and as if this was not enough, it is also topped with burnt marshmallow. Now this is definitely something worth visiting the Maltby Street market for!
Élan Cafe
Beautifully decorated, stylish cafes and restaurants with quirky menus and distinctive atmosphere are always in my list of top dream destinations. And Élan Cafe ticks all these boxes.
I am so intrigued to try their Golden latte which contains turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, ginger, chilli, pepper and milk, and tuck into one of their delicious-looking tarts!
Dream Spot Destinations-Taormina
La Capinera Restaurant
This beautiful restaurant offers a window to the aquamarine blue of the Ionian Sea,the best view to accompany a delicious meal. Famous for its chef, Pietro D’Agostino (one of Sicily’s most renowned chefs), La Capinera can be found in almost all the travel guides about Sicily and holds a Michelin Star. Their menu includes a great selection of seafood, meat and pasta dishes but I already know what I will be ordering (if the menu doesn’t change in the next few weeks!): Breast of wild duck caramelized with chestnuts honey pistachio and caramelized oranges!
Al Duomo Restaurant
Located in the heart of Taormina and overlooking its beautiful Duomo, this restaurant promises to bring its guests the original taste of Sicilian cuisine through the creations of the restaurant’s chef Gianluca Lizzio. The photos of the restaurant and its surroundings stole my heart and put it straight in my top destinations list; so Mediterranean and colourful! The food on the menu sounds delicious too! I already have my eyes on the Carnaroli risotto with langoustines, zucchini cream and candied lemon and from what I saw on their IG page they seem to be making a mean Cannolo too!
Dream Spot Destinations-Ibiza
The Ninth Bar
Located at the rooftop of Ibiza’s Hard Rock Hotel, the Ninth bar offers stunning panoramic views of Playa d’En Bossa and Ses Salines National Park. I can’t wait to watch the sunset from this amazing place whilst sipping on one of their Chili Mango Mojitos!
Km5 Lounge Bar Ibiza
Km5 is one of the most famous bars in Ibiza’s nightlife. I love the colours and decoration of its open-air restaurant, lounge garden and bar. It looks like the perfect environment for a relaxed night of fun!
Have you got any more recommendations for me for places to visit in London, Sicily and Ibiza? I’d love to hear them all!
Love,
Eleni xx

Gorgeous spots! I’ve been to Florence myself, but only in the winter so far. If this is your first time, then be ready to be mesmerized by all the sights, and delicious food. Kalo taxidi!
